History

Tommy made the very first timeline calendar for Bleach Immortal Soul summoning banner, recharge and exchange events. It was a table and text version that he posted on reddit in April 2020:

Later, using Google Sheets, Lunar developed a graphical version of the calendar. In July 2020 the calendar was also posted on reddit.

Lunar Original Google Sheet Event Calendar

While beautiful the Google Sheet version was hard to read, update and was mobile unfriendly. For those reasons the Sheet version was abandoned by Lunar in favor of discord bot posts in a separate calendar channel. The Sheet calendar abandonment message is not dated but the discord bot posts date back to December 2020:

As Lunar was moving to other things, in January 2021 the discord bot posts were also abandoned. However, our discord server users still had an up to date information about the events. How? In September 2020, Lunar's disciple, omnifactor started announcing new events as soon as they went live. For a long time we only had those announcements to rely on:

But all good things come to an end and omni also had to move on. Luckily, when omni left, SeanLives stepped up and continued the announcement work. When Sean started as a calendar keeper we also split the calendar announcements from the code announcements and structured them so that every timeline got it's own announcement channels with events grouped by type:

When the time came for Sean to go, the announcement work was continued by Rodrigo. Turned out Rodrigo and his accomplice Spec also have been running a graphical Google Sheet based version of the calendar. The guys keep doing this still:

As for my role (IodideFly) I wanted to resurrect Tommy's text based version of the calendar. While looking bland the text version was quick and easy to use and it was accessible from any device. Around the time when Sean stepped down and Rodrigo started, I made an updated text version for discord. Afterwards, Polaris took care of updating global and Korean timelines (Tommy supplied the Korean data) while EXICOVER CH took care of the SEA timeline. Later Polaris left us and Tommy dropped the Korean data delivery which caused us to discontinue the Korean calendar. Global timelines are still up to date due to hard work of JaxTeller. The text versions of the calendars for various timelines can be found on the BIS Leaks discord server on this this website.

In December 2021 both Tommy and Rodrigo quit BIS. Vitaliy continued updating the calendar channels in discord in Rodrigo's stead. Vitaly retired on 10th of September 2022 and now there is only iodideFly updating the website calendars.
